Everything you need to know about chihuahuas

Life can be simple, but unfortunately, many people are disconnected from reality and influenced by social media. As a result, they may follow rules that are made up by modern society.

From our experience, dogs should be looked at as carnivores that were domesticated by humans millions of years ago. Although their DNA has been altered through evolution, their natural instincts for hunting still exist. If you observe your dog's reactions and behaviors closely, you will notice that not much has changed since they were adapted from the wild.

Based on these observations, we recommend the following:

Do:

  1. Food - We recommend Health Extension Little Bites for your dog's health. Click here for the best deals.

  2. Supplements - Health Extension Pills can be made into a powder and mixed with your dog's hard food with a little water and some turkey deli. They love it.

  3. Protein - Dogs need protein from meat. However, if you follow a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle, you can still meet your dog's nutritional needs by providing protein from meat-free sources. According to the NRC (National Research Council), dogs require specific nutrients such as protein, not specific feedstuffs such as meat.

  4. Water - Fresh, filtered, or special fountain bowl water should always be available to your dog whenever they need to drink.

Don't:

  1. Metal tags - We are not sure why, but some people believe that it's necessary to put a metal breloque (charm bracelet, collar metal piece) with an engraved name and phone number on their dog's collar. However, this can be really annoying for your little dog, especially the sound it makes when you walk your dog. Nowadays, there are many ways to put your owner's contact info into their vests (plastic, not metal).

  2. Safety - When your dog is at home, remove their vest and collar. How would you feel if someone kept you in a collar that made noise whenever you moved to drink water? It can be just as annoying for your dog.

I hope this helps, and more information will be coming soon!
